What in the World is Going On?

In light of the utter chaos, pandemic, lock-down, economic meltdown, few subjects are more relevant today than a deeper look at Bible Prophecy; not to sensationalize, or to make our own foolish predictions, but to know the times and seasons from God's perspective, to be ready for the return of the King. Future Prophetic events have a tremendous bearing on our present. Studying prophecy has a higher practical value. It gives compelling motivation for living the Christian life here and now. My favorite Scriptural admonitions related to the Lord's return (a personal eschatological awakening):

1. Remember the Lord in the frequent observance of the Lord's Supper (1 Cor.11:26).

2. Refuse to neglect Church gatherings (Heb.10:24-25).

3. Renounce sin as you await His appearing (1 John 2:28-29).

4. Reach out to a lost world (Jude 21-23).

5. Remain patient (James 5:7-8).

6. Refrain from judging others (1 Cor.4:5).

7. Restore the bereaved (1Thess. 4:13-18).

8.Rekindle the passion to serve the Lord faithfully (1 Cor.15:51-58).
